Walton Chu - CEO

Walton Chu, now CEO of HOME789, took the initial 2008 start-up company from being a

small business in Chippendale, then known as “Great Fortune Investment”, to become one

of Sydney's most successful project marketing and property management companies.

Walton brings a wealth of financial knowledge, property expertise and experience to his

client relationships. His specialist areas include project marketing, property development,

business strategy, sales strategy and asset management. 


Under Walton's expertise and leadership, HOME789 and himself have received recognition

from numerous professional bodies in the past two years, including Australian Business

Awards (ABA), New South Wales Business Chamber (NSWBC) and Real Estate Institute

of New South Wales (REINSW). HOME789 is the 2016 winner of Australian Business

Awards (ABA) 100 for Brand Excellence. We are also a proud finalist in both the REINSW

Awards of Excellence in the category of Residential Sales Team and the City of Sydney

Business Awards for Excellence in Business for the past two consecutive years. Walton is

the finalist for Business Leader in 2016 City of Sydney Business Awards.


Besides, Walton strongly believes that behaving responsibly is critical to the sustainability of

the company. HOME789 proudly supports various organisations and charity groups, raising

much needed money and volunteering for such important causes with worthy contributions.

Walton in fact began his career as a medical doctor, but discovered his talent for Real Estate

not so much by choice but in the process of making ends meet. “I came to work in this

industry through life experiences and understanding the importance of owning a property.

building trust and representing our clients' greatest asset - and helping them to maximise

Winnie Chhor - General Manager (Operations)

Winnie Chhor has over 20 years of experience working in listed US companies and government sector, and has held various positions including administration, accountant, management and project management roles.

In her current role as General Manager operations, Winnie oversees the daily operating activities of the company, including marketing, property management and HR.

Danny Lei – Chinese Channel Senior Sales Manager

After his graduation from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics with bachelor's degree, Mr. Lei engaged in computer development and sales in a state-owned enterprise. He served as a hardware development engineer, sales manager, as well as branch manager. The end of 2000 he immigrated to Australia.

Danny discovered Sydney to be a vibrant city, and was soon working for a computer company here. However, changes in the real estate market in Australia were attracting his attention. In 2008, he met Walton Chu and was deeply impressed by Walton's operational philosophy; so he joined the real estate industry immediately. Through his enthusiasm towards real estate investment and his excellent customer care, Danny was promoted from investment consultant to team leader, and became sales manager of HOME789 in 2012.



Claudia Ko - Korean Channel Sales Director

Claudia manages a team of 12 sales professionals, specifically engaging with the Korean and Australian communities.

Settling in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney after arriving from Seoul, Claudia has now developed a strong relationship with her local clientele and has a clear understanding of their needs. It has allowed Claudia to expand her client database and provide real estate solutions to her clients across NSW, QLD, VIC and WA. Building on her extensive experience, she has now joined HOME789 as an off-the plan specialist.

She provides advice on property investment, first home buying, home renovation and property portfolio management. Claudia strives to increase her clients’ wealth by providing investment advice in:

  •          Properties that have potential for capital growth
  •          High yield investment properties (commercial and residential)
  •          Negative gearing and positive gearing
  •          Risk and Return in property investment



William Wang - Advisory Service Manager

Beginning from a solid background with an MBA in Mechanical Engineering, William now has 15 years’ industry experience in Project Management, Engineering and Manufacturing, Planning, as well as Customer Service.

He also has invaluable experience in Production Planning and Quality Control at ISO9002 and ISO9000 level.

In addition to strong Projects Management skills, William brings excellent strategic thought leadership and interpersonal skills to the HOME789 team.


Catherine Dai - Senior Sales Partner

 Catherine was studying law in East China University of Political Science and Law.  She became a lawyer when she graduated from University. She had been working as a lawyer for 7 years until she came to Australia in January 2012. During that period, Catherine had been employed by 2 listed companies as permanent law consultant and dealt with over one hundred cases in court.

Catherine joined HOME789 in January 2014 as a Property Consultant. She is dedicated, hard-working, organized and high-efficient.


Daniel Bao - Marketing Manager

After graduating from Macquarie University with a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Accounting,Daniel has worked as accountant and immigration agent respectively before joining HOME789 family as Marketing Manager.

Daniel is a hardworking, dedicated and intelligent young boy. He manages website,events,social media campaigns, newsletters, and emails. He enjoys being actively involved in several aspects of marketing, tactical strategy that brought great ideas and order to our marketing plan.
